Pitaya, also known as dragon fruit, is the main attraction at this restaurant and used as an ingredient in many of the dishes and drinks. The fully ripened fruit comes from the restaurant owner’s pitaya farm and is used within 3 days of harvesting so as to maintain its freshness and health benefits. It’s claimed that other establishments use unripened fruits which can be kept for 10 days or more.
The signature dishes here are Grouper Fish Head Steamed With Chilies, Boneless Chicken With Pitaya Salad, and Cixi Claypot.
