Planet Popcorn prides themselves on using top quality ingredients that are healthy and low in calories. In addition, they have great quality control on their popcorn so that freshness is maintained. Planet Popcorn also regularly invents new and exciting flavours for the enjoyment of customers—right now, they have interesting and delicious flavours such as cheese, chocolate, seaweed, and kimchi! Comparing the popcorn to Tea Chansi...

Comparing the popcorn to Tea Chansii's one... I think the freshness for Plant Popcorn last longer... I bought Planet Popcorn a week before I bought Tea Chansii's popcorn, but when T.C. popcorn had soften, PP's ones are still crunchy~ :D But when compare the taste, with those having similar flavour (such as cheese, chocolate, wasabi, curry), I would prefer Tea Chansii more. But of course, the kimchi flavour PP had is unique to only them. :) And I would recommend kimchi flavour, oh yes :)...

If you want to try out some special flavoured popcorn, go ahead :) But if you're planning to buy some ori or caramal popcorn, I rather recommend the ordinary cinema popcorn or even those in the supermarket~ cheaper, yet not far difference in taste. And lastly, I think both PP and TC's popcorns have a lot of shell >,< *true that Chef Tony's have less shell or really little shell compared to these 2 brands, it's too sweet and salty for me! >,< And their light version was not yet introduced since last year when they said 'soon'.

Not bad, but not going to dream about it either.

Planet Popcorn just right beside Tesco. It's look a bit trendy and got so many flavours, so i decided to give it a try. Honestly, It's a bit pricey to me. I buy cheese popcorn and wasabi popcorn.. Well, hum..it's a so-so to me.. not bad, but definetely not going to dream about it.

New try!!!

When I want to go to car park to take my car, a very enthusiasm's voice to ask me to try their pop-corn. At first, I eat few different type, but I'm not very interesting to buy it because for me its just a pop-corn. But due to too over passion of the worker, I start took seriously to taste all the flavour. The Kichim taste spicy, Wasabi need take 2pcs more still got the chocking taste. Of cos, Caremel is the most acceptable for most the people.

Interesting Twist

Tried several flavours of the popcorn here... have to say that my favourite is the Kimchi flavour. It would be better if it didn't have a sweet aftertaste! It was kind of odd to taste their seaweed flavour.. seaweed flavour popcorn is supposed to be salty, but theirs is sweet.. which was weird. I think the base flavour of their popcorn is sweetened already, so that might be why all their flavours have this sweet aftertaste. It's all right for flavours like caramel and chocolate that are...

I think the base flavour of their popcorn is sweetened already, so that might be why all their flavours have this sweet aftertaste. It's all right for flavours like caramel and chocolate that are meant to be sweet, but for cheese and seaweed flavour... it's.... weird. Seaweed is usually one of my fav. popcorn flavours, but I like it salty, with no hint of sweetness! Guess I would have to go back to America or Canada to get my salty popcorn again... seems like no Asians can appreciate salty popcorn! That said, Planet Popcorn has great quality popcorn--none of that uncooked jagung that you get with regular popcorn at the movies. It's kinda pricey, though... not sure if I would pay that much for popcorn on a regular basis...
