Lovely Persian Cuisine

Tucked in a quiet corner of Solaris Mont Kiara, naab was rather empty when we visited during the week. The decor was pleasant but lacks 'personality' in comparison to their main branch in Bukit Bintang. Nevertheless the service was friendly and polite. The decor was pleasant but lacks 'personality' in comparison to their main branch in Bukit Bintang. Nevertheless the service was friendly and polite. We browsed through the menu and decided on a few items. One does not visit a middle eastern restaurant without trying their hummus. They version (RM12.90) is comforting without being overly creamy. It would have been perfect with just a little bit more salt. The Baba Ganoush salad/dip (RM12.90) was probably not much to look at due to the slightly grey tinge of eggplant flesh, but it definitely makes up with good clean flavours of eggplant, capsicum and lemon. I prefer this to the hummus, but the bf loved the hummus and wiped it clean! I should also mention the hot bread provided was the perfect transport for these dips. I couldn't stop picking up the little pita chips from the Fattoush salad. Very appetizing little dish with fresh vegetables for only RM9.90. I also ordered the single Lamb Koobideh Kebab (around RM25) and enjoyed it. The Lamb was nicely seasoned and went well with the basil leaves, pickles, grilled tomato and onion slices. What I love about the rice was the super long grain, and each grain was actually tangy and aromatic, buttery at some part too. Superb.

Naab Iranian Fine Cuisine Restaurant

Walked into Iranian restaurant with my friends for brunch in the weekend. Amazing! They will served you a drink (Lemonade with mint leave) once you sit down. Refreshing makes me more hungry before my meal and after my meal it helps to digest. We had ordered Mirza Ghasemi, is a appetizer that served with hot bread. One of the waiter explaining to us how to eat on it and enjoy them ^^ Besides that, we also ordered Lamb Koobideh Wrap (The portion is big for us, therefore we all sharing it)....

Chicken Soup (Full of cream, "too over"). Chicken Salami Sandwich & Naab Lamb Burger. Overall, all their portion was quite big. The staff are friendly and attentive too. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The location is at the corner behind Public Bank in Solaris Mont Kiara only, very eazy to get. Ya.....in additional, for those who are HSBC holder will get 15% discount and Citibank holder will get 20% discount in the total bill. (AMAZING) ^^

Dunk on the lamb kebab

The lamb koobideh is the hot thing here and it was very juicy and tasty. I had it with rice, but next time I'll try the wrap. I also tried the biryani and chicken lunch special, which is good deal for 20 bux. The chicken was good but the rice doesn't taste like the biryani you might expect. It's drier than Indian style and has less oil. I suppose you can say it tastes healthier. If you don't feel like fighting for street parking at Solaris Mont Kiara, you can park in the carpark for RM1. There's always space if you go down to the exit level even on weekdays.
