Bijan is one of the few places in town where you can introduce local tastes to foreigners or visiting VIPs. It is located close to the KL Towers and a great stop for a meal, before headed to other local attractions within the postcode. The parking can be a bitch so it is a place to go with a driver.
I always order the banana blossom salad which is rare to come by and they have a durian cheesecake that you will either love or hate. Of course you have to expect to pay for the quality, if you do not want to be slumming it in a local Malay stall without AC. There will be better tasting food out there if you are able to brave the heat and all that, I am not willing to go through that type of trouble when I know that I can find those few rare dishes here that you can only get if you are lucky enough to get traditional homecooked meals of such fine standards.
